ES&S has pending proposal to automate Philippine elections

Dan Rather has exposed the flaws in electronic voting machines used in U.S. elections, which might have altered the results of U.S. presidential elections. Some of the machines, he says, were made by ES&S in Philippine “sweatshops”. (See the Dan Rather report here.)

It turns out that ES&S also has a pending proposal with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to automate the next Philippine elections, using its Philippine-made machines. (See the Comelec announcement here.)
